A month or so ago the husband and I watched the delightful Italian Film "Mid August Lunch". The film takes place in Rome during the August holiday- Pranzo di Ferragosto when a cash strapped son takes in other elderly mammas (besides his own leather faced mamma) over the holiday to earn some extra cash and pay his rent. The movie is charming and quirky. We loved how it depicted a unique side of Rome, not typically shown in other Roman movies we have seen... anywho, you should watch it and you can do so INSTANTLY on netflix! enjoy.
