SQUIRREL!

the baby and the pup this morning looking for "Squirrels!" Well mostly the dog is on the look out and the baby loves how close she can get to the dog with out millie running away. (sorry these are blurry, they were taken with my cellphone!)

And after the dog left- a little cruising around...

So this has been happening...

now that the baby is crawling all over she is learning how to play with our dog Millie... here's a little video of them at the shore.  (caution it is a 3 min video- a bit home-movie esque, but cute, of course I am bias!)

Goes to show Millie can make a dog bed out of anything!
Here she is curled up in the large stuffed Tiger, too funny.

Dogs at the Beach

This past Saturday we took our Boston, Millie to the shore with her cousin Henry, the Italian Greyhound, to romp around on the beach. It was a bit colder than we anticipated so they didn't chase each other as much as they normally do, but it was fun none the less. This video might be a little boring but like any home video, it's fun for the dog owners. They are quite the pair!

(not sure why the sound is not playing...?)

Weekend Project... tbd

I have a few weekend projects up my sleeve for today and tomorrow... I will blog about them sometime next week.  The weather is going to be 70 degrees today so I am going to take advantage of this warm spell and do a little outdoor project!  In the mean time, here's a little video of Millie running around the Shore this week attempting to catch a few birds. She's cute but too slow. I love her determination though! I'm still working on taking video with my camera, so excuse the zooming in and out, and wobbliness.  Have a great weekend!

Meeting Little Baby V

On Sunday morning- our friends had their baby- Mason!
We went over that night to bring them dinner and some treats.  I carved this pumpkin as a little stork-like seasonal announcement. I opted out of putting the baby's full name on it- as I thought it might look tragic as the pumpkin aged... How fun is it to be born in October!? Look at all the cool things you can do! I'm still pulling for our baby to come on Halloween, we'll see!

I also knit them a little 3 month old hat a while back. I'll admit I also knit a girlier version, but was confident in my hunch they were having a boy! We also set up a "food train" for them using google spreadsheets- where friends and family can sign up for a night to bring dinner to the new family. It's a great way to stay organized and to communicate to an extensive network, I recommend using the spreadsheet for any food train and such that might be in your future!

On an unrelated note- Chilling with Little Millie dog on Sunday afternoon... doesn't get much better than this!?  Sorry for no pictures of their baby, it was a nice little visit, quiet and peaceful... Plus I'll leave it up to the NEW parents to share the first pics of their SON! He's a cutie! Congratulations!

meet little dog

Enjoying the afternoon sun and doing a little dog watching... (click on pics to enlarge them)

Anywhere near Cameron is alright with her.

I just told her to stop begging for food, so she left the kitchen and is sulking...

Cameron as her dog bed...
Her other favorite spot- my Anthro chair, awesome...

Loves Loves Loves this guy, or thinks he has food for her...

This pretty much sums it up- she uses us to gain a little height to accommodate for her short stature...
